Welcome to taskpiece. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the taskpiece website, platform, and services (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using taskpiece, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. About taskpiece

taskpiece is an online marketplace that connects clients (“Clients”) with independent freelancers (“Freelancers”) to collaborate on tasks and projects. taskpiece is not a party to any agreement between Clients and Freelancers and does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of services offered.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

To use taskpiece, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
     

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. taskpiece reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

3. User Responsibilities

By using taskpiece, you agree that you will:

  • Use the Platform only for lawful purposes
  • Not post misleading, fraudulent, or illegal content
  • Not attempt to bypass platform fees or payment systems
  • Treat other users respectfully and professionally
     

Clients are responsible for clearly defining task requirements, timelines, and payments. Freelancers are responsible for delivering work as agreed.

4. Payments & Fees

taskpiece may charge service fees for using the Platform. All fees will be clearly displayed before a transaction is completed.

Payments between Clients and Freelancers must be conducted through taskpiece’s payment system unless explicitly permitted otherwise. taskpiece is not responsible for payment disputes arising from off-platform transactions.

5. Disputes Between Users

taskpiece encourages users to resolve disputes amicably. In case of a dispute, taskpiece may offer mediation tools but is not obligated to resolve or enforce outcomes. taskpiece’s decision, where applicable, shall be final.

6. Intellectual Property

Users retain ownership of the content they create or upload. By posting content on taskpiece, you grant taskpiece a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content for operating and promoting the Platform.

Clients and Freelancers are responsible for agreeing on ownership and usage rights of work delivered through taskpiece.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Post harmful, abusive, or discriminatory content
  • Engage in spam, hacking, or data scraping
  • Impersonate another person or entity
     

Violation of these rules may result in account suspension or permanent termination.

8. Termination

taskpiece may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or harm the Platform or its users. You may stop using the Platform at any time.

9. Changes to Terms

taskpiece reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Platform, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
